The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or convertible to cash. In the event that Safe Software is unable to award the Prize as described, Safe Software reserves the right to award a replacement prize of equivalent value in its sole discretion.
The odds of winning the Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
The winner of the Prize will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The selected contestant will be notified by email not later than Tuesday, February 28th, 2017 at 8pm PST and must respond within five (5) business days of such notification. If the selected contestant does not respond within this time frame, they may be disqualified and Safe Software may, in its sole discretion, select another contestant.
Safe Software is not responsible for the failure of a selected contestant to receive notification, or for Safe Software’s failure to receive a selected contestant’s response, for any reason whatsoever. Before a winner can be declared, each Canadian-selected contestant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical, skill-testing question. Each selected contestant may be required to sign a standard Release Agreement prior to being declared a winner.
Allow 1-2 weeks for electronic delivery of the Prize after verification of the winner’s email address and contact information. Safe Software is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of a contestant.
All entries become the property of Safe Software, which assumes no responsibility for lost entries, for any failure of the website during the Contest Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof.
All personal and other information requested by and supplied to Safe Software for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. Safe Software reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any contestant if such contestant, at any stage, supplies untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information.
In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an entry, the entry shall be deemed submitted by the “authorized account holder” of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. A contestant may be requested to provide Safe Software with proof that they are the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the potential winning entry.
