Automating Customer Notification of Water System Impacts

With over 2,800 miles of water main, we at San Jose Water Company are continuously working on our potable water system. Although we strive to never impact our customers with our routine maintenance, unfortunately that can't always be the case. As a result, we decided to build a water system impact notification tool. At the heart of this notification tool is FME. This presentation will briefly review the system architecture and then dissect the two simple FME workspaces that make this all work.
