Mission #7: Join a Webinar
Join us for any webinar during the Contest Period. A Code will be presented during the webinar.
Bonus Mission: The World in AR
Download the Bonus Mission file from the Contest Page. This file contains a workspace that recreates the Pacific Meeting Room in Safe Software’s new HQ. The workspace can be viewed in Data Inspector or in the FME AR app that is available through the App Store and Google Play.
Change and modify any part of the virtual Meeting Room.
Once you’re satisfied with your changes, then run the workspace and email us the output file at firstname.lastname@example.org. All submissions will receive one Code via return email. Additional Codes will not be awarded for additional submissions.
Deadline for submission for bonus Codes: All submissions received by no later than July 1, 2019 at 11:59pm PDT will be considered for inclusion in our FME Community public vote. If you do not want your submission to be made public, then please submit it after July 2, 2019 or indicate that you do not wish to be shortlisted for public voting.
Safe will shortlist all submissions received prior to July 2, 2019 based on the following criteria: the number and extent of modifications, creativity, and technicality of modifications.
Up to 5 shortlisted submissions will be posted in our FME Community on July 15, 2019 and made available for community voting. The voting period will be between July 15 - July 31, 2019. All shortlisted submissions will receive two additional Codes via email.
The submission with the most votes will receive three additional Codes via email.
You must submit each Code, along with your name and email address, on the Contest Page to finalize each entry into the Contest. For Missions #2, #4, #5, #6, and #7 only one Code per Mission will be eligible for entry into the Contest. For Mission #1 and #3, up to 2 Codes per Mission will be eligible for entry into the Contest. For the Bonus Mission: (a) the Contestant whose submission receives the most FME Community votes will be entitled to a total of five Codes which are eligible for entry into the Contest; (b) Contestants whose submissions are shortlisted but who do not receive the most votes will be entitled to a total of three Codes which are eligible for entry into the Contest; and (c) all other Contestants who submit a submission will be entitled to one Code which is eligible for entry into the Contest.
Each eligible entry will entered into a pool for a random draw to win a General Prize. In addition, if you have completed five or more Missions, one of which must be Mission #1 (Attend an FME World Tour Event), then all of your eligible entries will also be entered into a pool for a random draw to win the Grand Prize.
Grand Prize – There is a total of one (1) Grand Prize. The Grand Prize includes two (2) full passes to the FME International User Conference to be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from June 16 - 19, 2020. Each pass is valued at C$1800.00. The Grand Prize does not include transportation, accommodation, or other related expenses to attend the FME International User Conference.
General Prizes – There are a total of five (5) General Prizes. Each General Prize will be a swag package valued at approximately C$20.00.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable or convertible to cash. As a special exception, the Grand Prize may be transferred to co-workers within your same organization. In the event that Safe is unable to award a prize as described, Safe reserves the right to award a replacement prize of equivalent value in its sole discretion. A maximum of one (1) General Prize and (1) Grand Prize may be awarded to each contestant over the Contest Period.
The odds of winning a prize depend on the total number and timing of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
Anyone who creates multiple Twitter accounts to enter the Contest, or otherwise violates the Twitter Rules, may be disqualified.
All entries and AR Rooms submitted for the Bonus Mission will be screened by Safe and any entry which Safe deems, in its sole discretion, to be illegitimate, spam, obscene, unlawful, violent, harassing, libelous, or otherwise inappropriate for the Contest will be considered non-eligible.
Winners of the prizes will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Each selected entrant ("Entrant") will be notified by email not later than Friday, August 16, 2019 and must respond within five (5) business days of such notification. If the Entrant does not respond within this time frame, they may be disqualified and Safe may, in its sole discretion, select another entrant. Safe is not responsible for the failure of an Entrant to receive notification, or for our failure to receive an Entrant's response, for any reason whatsoever.
Before a winner can be declared, each Canadian Entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical, skill-testing question. Each Entrant may be required to sign a standard Release Agreement prior to being declared a winner.
Allow 4-6 weeks for shipment of any prize after verification of the winner’s address and contact information. Safe is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of any Entrant.
All entries become the property of Safe, which assumes no responsibility for lost entries, for any failure of the website or the Twitter platform during the Contest Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof.
In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an entry, the entry shall be deemed submitted by the “authorized account holder" of the email address submitted at the time of Contest Code entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. An Entrant may be requested to provide us with proof that they are the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the potentially winning entry.
If due to an error, there are more claims for prizes than Prizes, then Safe reserves the right to award the Prizes through a random drawing of eligible prize claims. No more than the stated number of Prizes shall be awarded.
Safe reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the Contest at any time if Safe determines that, for any reason, the Contest cannot be run as originally planned or if there is any other occurrence compromising the fairness or integrity of the Contest.
By entering the Contest, you agree to abide by the Contest Rules and the decisions of Safe, which are final.
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and municipal laws. Void in Quebec, Hawaii, Florida, Alaska, Puerto Rico and wherever prohibited by law.
