  • What does my conference pass include?

    All conference passes include full days of sessions in addition to breakfast, a hot lunch, and snacks. Full conference passes also include access to the evening social which includes dinner.

  • Are there hotel rooms available for attendees?

    Hotel blocks have been reserved for a special conference price at the Coast Hotel Coal Harbour, the official host hotel of the FME International User Conference. Additional hotel blocks and special rates are also available at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, and the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel.

  • What is the pre-conference training?

    The pre-conference training is a full day of hands-on training hosted by Safe Software’s FME experts. It is the perfect opportunity to dive into connecting, transforming, and automating your data workflows. Courses will be held on Tuesday, June 16. Check out the topics and schedule here.

    Pre-conference training must be purchased in conjunction with a conference pass. It can be added at the time of registration, or at a later date. Get your passes here.

  • What is the difference between the FME World Tour and the FME User Conference?

    FME World Tour is... 

    A series of 1-day events in 70+ cities around the world from March - May 2020. These events are a great way to:

    3-day conference in Vancouver, Canada between June 16 - 19, 2020.

    It is the largest gathering of global FME users, and is a great way to:

    • Receive in-person FME training (available as a conference add-on)
    • Meet all of the FME developers and support team
    • Network with your peers at multiple social events

Registration and Payment

  • Is there a group discount?

    Yes! Discounts are available for groups of 3 or more. Please note that all tickets must be purchased in one transaction to be eligible for this discount. Get your passes here.

  • I'm not sure who is attending yet. Can I still register?

    Whether you are registering on behalf of your team, or if you are looking to take advantage of the Group Conference Pass, you can register at any time - even before you have all the attendees confirmed.

    Simply register all tickets under your name, and edit each ticket holder's names once they are confirmed. As name badges are printed based on the registrations, we do ask that you take the time to complete this step to ensure each ticket is associated with the name of the correct conference attendee.

  • Is there a discount for accepted speakers?

    Yes, accepted speakers will receive discounted pricing for a Full Conference Pass. To ensure you receive the best possible rate, we recommend that you register as soon as possible!

  • What are the payment options?

    Credit cards (MasterCard, VISA and American Express) are accepted securely through the Eventbrite service.

    Offline payment methods are also accepted until June 1, 2020. You can select one of these options by choosing ‘Pay by Cheque’ during registration.

  • Do you provide invitation letters for travelling purposes?

  • How can I justify attending to my manager?

    The FME UC is an investment in your knowledge and skills. It’s a chance for you to network and make connections with hundreds of data professionals from around the world. It’s also a great opportunity to gain fresh inspiration so your organization can stay at the leading edge of data technology.

  • When does registration close?

    Registration cut-off is dependent on the payment method:

    Registration will remain open for credit card orders and will be available onsite at the conference. Credit cards (MasterCard, VISA and American Express) are accepted securely through the Eventbrite service.

    Registrations close for offline payment methods. Purchase orders, cheques and wire transfers: payment must be made within 30 days of order date or by June 1, 2020, whichever is sooner to avoid cancellation.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    You may transfer your conference pass to someone else for free up to and including June 15th, 2020. Name badges are required for entry to the conference, so please ensure each ticket is associated with the name of the correct conference attendee.

    If you’re unable to attend and can’t find a replacement, you may cancel your registration for a full refund by April 30, 2020. Between May 1 - 31, 2020 you may cancel your registration for a 50% refund. No refunds will be given on or after June 1, 2020.

  • What is the difference between a Full Conference Pass and a Partner Pass?

    A Full Conference pass gives you access to the full conference whereas a Partner Pass gives you access to the full conference and to Partner Day. Please note that only Safe Software partners are eligible to purchase a Partner Pass.
