FME User Conference & World Tour 2022: You are invited!
It is with great excitement that we invite you to attend our upcoming User Conference and World Tour events!
In the beginning of January, we made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person North American Roadshow. Instead, we are pivoting our efforts to a Virtual World Tour and will be hosting an online two-day event that will take place on April 5th & 6th 2022. At first, we were optimistically planning to head out to 16 cities across North America, however, we have decided that it was best to keep the plan virtual for (hopefully just) one more year in the best interest of our community.
With that being said, we are hopeful that we can deliver the User Conference in person as planned! With the world pandemic entering a new phase, we are looking forward to seeing our valued customers and partners from around the world and meeting new ones that have joined us or are looking to join us on our mission to maximize data. We have missed in-person events so very much.
The FME World Tour 2022 and FME User Conference 2022 promise to be memorable and great opportunities for us all to learn and share our data journeys. We look forward to hearing all about your data challenges and solutions. We, along with the FME user community, will share how you can conquer any data mountains that you face.

FME World Tour 2022: Data-Driven
Though we pivoted the Safe-hosted portion of the World Tour to virtual, we are excited to get back to the program! Safe’s virtual World Tour event on April 5th & 6th 2022 will focus on valuable presentation content for our North American users and prospects. Nonetheless, anyone is welcome to attend!
We are delighted that some of our partners are able to continue with in-person events. Whether an event takes place in person, or on screen, we know they will be informative, fun, and a great learning experience for the attendee. Look out for a World Tour event in a city near you. Being Data-Driven is extremely important for businesses today! On the first day of our virtual conference, we will showcase how data can be used to drive business decisions, and how deploying FME can fuel success. The second day of our virtual conference will be a journey through FME 2022.0. We will focus on technical deep dives from our experts. They will demonstrate just how far FME can get you. Our partner events will follow a similar roadmap to showcase ‘the why and how’ of FME. They will show you how you can get in the driver’s seat and ahead of your competition.
The World Tour is a great way to meet others in the FME community. You can hear how real life users are using the platform to harness the power of data, and gain tips & tricks on the latest release of FME.

FME User Conference 2022: The Peak of Data Integration
At last! Despite being postponed twice, we’re thrilled to welcome you back to our first User Conference since 2017. There is great value in this conference and in the city it is being held in. From the mountains to the melting pot of cultures, Vancouver is a city we are truly blessed to be in!
If you have attended our conference previously, you know that we pull out all the stops. You will leave inspired with new ideas on how to get more value from all the data you have access to. Leading data experts from around the world will be in attendance. Come and learn how you can reach the Peak of Data Integration.
For us and the whole team at Safe, we really enjoy those few days of being engaged in our community. As we’ve said time and time again, we also enjoy learning about all of your challenges and how FME can help. We want to understand and develop ways that we can make FME even better in the future.

Founders – Safe Software
Don Murray
Don is the co-founder and President of Safe Software. Safe Software was founded originally doing work for the BC Government on a project sharing spatial data with the forestry industry. During that project Don and other co-founder, Dale Lutz, realized the need for a data integration platform like FME. When Don’s not raving about how much he loves XML, you can find Don working with the team at Safe to take the FME product to the next level. You will also find him on the road talking with customers and partners to learn more about what new FME features they’d like to see.
Dale Lutz
Dale is the co-founder and VP of Development at Safe Software. After starting his career working spatial data (ranging from icebergs to forest stands) for many years, he and other co-founder, Don Murray, realized the need for a data integration platform like FME. His favourite TV show is Star Trek, which inspired the names for most of the meeting rooms and common areas in the Safe Software office.
