FME Desktop Editions

Database-specific Editions
Need to read and write data from/to a specific database? These database-specific editions include all the functionality of the FME ESRI edition plus add the ability to load data into a database. Editions include:
- Oracle Edition
- Smallworld Edition (also includes Oracle connectivity)
- Microsoft SQL Server Edition (beta)
- IBM DB2 Edition
Application-specific Editions
Using a specific GIS application? These specialized editions include support for additional formats or data sources.
ESRI Edition
Built with tight integration in mind, this FME edition includes support for ESRI GeoDatabase, ArcSDE and ArcInfo Coverage. It also enables you to conveniently access over 100 formats of FME directly from within a familiar ESRI ArcGIS interface.

ESRI ArcGIS Server Edition
Designed for organizations that are using ArcGIS Server, this FME edition enables ArcGIS Server to serve “spatial ETL tools” that were built using FME Workbench inside of ArcGIS Desktop. It also enables ArcGIS Map Services to include data in any FME-supported format. This edition must be deployed alongside ArcGIS Server.
Intergraph Edition
Recommended for Intergraph GeoMedia users, this FME edition includes support for Intergraph data formats such as FRAMME, G/Technology and MGE. Plus, users receive convenient access to the full capabilities from the FME Professional edition right within a familiar interface.
FME Desktop General Purpose Editions
These general purpose FME editions are well suited for users with a variety of spatial ETL needs.
Professional Edition
Designed to support a variety of spatial ETL requirements, this FME edition offers support for a wide range of GIS, CAD, raster and spatial database formats, as well as full database reading. It also includes the complete set of FME transformers to help GIS Professionals manipulate data in limitless ways.
Base Edition
Suitable for first time FME users with limited spatial ETL requirements, this entry-level FME edition includes support for over 40 formats and a basic set of transformers to help you easily translate, transform and integrate spatial data.
