FME Desktop Editions
FME® Desktop is available in a variety of editions with flexible licensing options to meet your specific spatial ETL requirements. Each edition includes the core FME components, including FME Workbench, FME Universal Viewer and FME Universal Translator. Editions differ based on the formats, transformers, and/or application integrations you require.

Smallworld Edition
The most complete edition of FME Desktop available, the FME Smallworld Edition is designed to meet the needs of Smallworld users. It includes support for all FME supported formats, including the ability for users to read and load data into Smallworld.

Database Editions
| Oracle Edition | For FME users who want to leverage Oracle Spatial, this FME edition includes support for hundreds of formats and enables you to load data into Oracle Spatial. The format support included in the Oracle edition is the same as that in the other Database Editions listed below. This edition includes the capabilties of all the editions listed below. | Microsoft SQL Server Edition | This FME edition enables users to more easily get data in and out of Microsoft SQL Server. It supports reading and writing of spatial and non-spatial data in over 250 formats and offers unlimited flexibility in data transformation. It also includes integration components for SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) so you can perform spatial data conversion from within a familiar environment. The format support included in the Microsoft SQL Server edition is the same as that in the other Database Editions listed here. It includes the capabilities of all the editions listed below. | IBM DB2 Edition | Designed for FME users who also use IBM DB2, this FME edition includes support for loading data into an IBM DB2 database. The format support included in the IBM DB2 edition is the same as that in the other Database Editions listed here. This edition includes the capabiltiies of all the editions listed below. |
ESRI Edition
Built with tight integration in mind, this FME edition includes support for ESRI formats including ArcSDE, ArcSDE raster, Geodatabase (ArcSDE and XML) and ArcInfo Coverage. Alongside support for hundreds of formats, the ESRI edition also includes the ESRI Data Interoperability Extension so you can conveniently access the power of FME right from within a familiar ESRI ArcGIS interface.

Intergraph Edition
Created for Intergraph GeoMedia users, this FME edition includes support for hundreds of formats and enables users to load data into Intergraph GeoMedia SQL Server Warehouses.

Professional Edition
Designed to support a variety of spatial ETL requirements, this FME edition offers support for a wide range of formats (GIS, CAD, raster, 3D, BIM, database and web), as well as full database reading features. It also includes the complete set of FME transformers to give you the utmost flexibility in how you manipulate and restructure your datasets.

Base Edition
Suitable for first time FME users with limited spatial ETL requirements, this entry-level FME edition includes support for over 40 formats and a basic set of transformers to help you easily translate, transform and integrate spatial data.
