Solutions for Oracle Spatial Users
FME's spatial ETL platform has long enabled Oracle users to load GIS, CAD and raster data into Oracle Spatial. Many Oracle customers also benefit from FME's flexible spatial data delivery capabilities.
With FME 2008, Oracle Spatial users can take advantage of two solutions:
FME Desktop Oracle Edition
FME Desktop Oracle Edition is a flexible and powerful spatial ETL toolset that makes it easy for you to load GIS, CAD and raster data into Oracle Spatial (both the Objects and Relational models). It includes support for writing Oracle 8i, 9i, and 10g Spatial, with support for 11g in FME 2008. You can also use FME Desktop to convert your Oracle Spatial data into many different CAD, GIS, raster and database formats for use by other applications.
FME Desktop supports over 200 formats, including ArcInfo coverages, ArcSDE and Geodatabase, Shape, GeoMedia Access Warehouse, Autocad DWG/DXF, and Microstation Design V7/V8. Support for Oracle's new 3D spatial type has been added for 2008:

Built on a scalable, services-oriented architecture, FME Server centralizes spatial data transformation and distribution tasks to reduce dependence on your department and increase end user autonomy. With FME Server, your department can:
- DISTRIBUTE spatial data over the web
