The FME sample datasets are required for use with FME tutorials and FME training courses. They include a combination of data and sample workspaces to help you explore the full range of FME functionality.
As content is available for different versions of FME, please be sure to get the right dataset for the course/tutorial you are taking.
FME 2014 Desktop or Server Tutorial - "Tutorials Dataset (2014)".
Full Dataset (2014): includes all of the data from the tutorial dataset, as well as a wider range of formats and data types that you may find useful to experiment with. This dataset is required for advanced tutorials.
For best results, the files and folders within the zip file should be extracted to C:\ - giving C:\FMEData2014. (Choosing a different location than C:\ will not prevent you from using this tutorial, but predefined translations within the FMEData folder will require editing to locate the data.)
Note: Much of the data used here originates from public domain data made
available by the City of Austin and Travis County, Texas, and data provided
for public use from the EPA under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). All
data is intended for training use only. It is not meant to accurately reflect any
real life situation and may have been altered in some way from the original source data.
