Data Validation and Upload Example

Discover how FME Server can help you easily collect, validate and load data - all via the web.

Here are the steps a data contributor would take to have their data validated and loaded into your desired location:

1. upload their data for validation, using a web browser.

2.a. if the provided data is valid, the user can click to load the data into the database. Sample valid data report.

2.b. if the provided data is invalid, the user see a report of what needs to be fixed. Sample invalid data report.

Find out for yourself how easy it is for your data providers to validate and then load their data into your desired location:

1. Download the sample dataset.
   
   • Valid dataset
   • Invalid dataset
2. Access the data validation service and click Login.
3. Click 'Browse' and upload the .zip file.
4. Then click 'Upload Files'.
5. Click 'Choose Upload' and select the .gml file.
6. Run the validation and loading job.
