FME Desktop Editions
Discover the edition that is right for you. FME Desktop is available in a variety of editions with flexible licensing options to meet your specific spatial ETL requirements. Each edition includes the core FME components, such as FME Workbench, FME Universal Viewer and FME Universal Translator. Editions differ based on the formats, transformers, and/or application integrations you require.

FME Editions and Descriptions
Base
Suitable for first time FME users with limited spatial ETL requirements, this entry-level FME edition includes support for over 40 formats and a basic set of transformers to help you easily translate, transform and integrate spatial data.
Professional
Designed to support a variety of spatial ETL requirements, this FME edition offers support for a wide range of formats (GIS, CAD, raster, 3D, BIM, database and web), as well as full database reading features. It also includes the complete set of FME transformers to give you the utmost flexibility in how you manipulate and restructure your datasets.
Esri
Built with tight integration in mind, this FME edition includes support for additional ESRI formats, such as ArcSDE, ArcSDE raster, Geodatabase (ArcSDE and XML) and ArcInfo Coverage. It also includes the ESRI Data Interoperability Extension so you can conveniently access the power of FME right from within a familiar ESRI ArcGIS interface.

Intergraph
Recommended for Intergraph GeoMedia users, this FME edition adds the ability for you to load data into Intergraph GeoMedia SQL Server Warehouses.
Oracle
For FME users who want to leverage Oracle Spatial, this FME edition builds upon the capabilities in the ESRI edition by enabling you to load data into Oracle Spatial.
IBM DB2
Designed for FME users who also use IBM DB2, this FME edition includes support for loading data into an IBM DB2 database.
Microsoft SQL Server
With this FME edition, users can load spatial data into Microsoft SQL Server Spatial. You can also use the included integration components for SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) so you can use FME directly within a familiar environment.
Smallworld
Designed for Smallworld users, this FME edition adds the ability for users to read and load data into Smallworld. It is also the most complete FME Desktop edition available.
