Solutions for Smallworld Users
FME's spatial ETL platform has long enabled users to move data in and out of GE Smallworld GIS. Many Smallworld customers also benefit from the ability to extend the format reach of the Smallworld Spatial Object Manager.
With FME, Smallworld users can take advantage of two solutions:
FME Desktop

FME Smallworld Spatial Object Manager (SOM)
Based on FME's powerful spatial ETL platform, this custom integration extends the format reach of the Smallworld SOM. When FME is installed on the same machine as the SOM, it provides direct read capability for over 200 FME-supported formats, including ArcSDE, Geodatabase, VPF, MapInfo, OS MasterMap and TIGER.The specific set of additional formats made available is determined by the FME edition installed:
