FME Certified Trainer

Designed for FME trainers, this accreditation recognizes your proven ability to provide FME product training courses that meet the Safe Software standard of excellence.

Application Requirements

This program is open to experienced FME resellers, system integrators and independent consultants. Certification is allocated to a specific individual, not to an organization.

Before applying, applicants must complete a minimum of 3 days of FME training (or equivalent) taught by a Certified FME Trainer or an instructor at a recognized educational institution.

As part of the application process, you will be required to submit:

  • Examples that demonstrate proven experience in public speaking or training
  • Three references from FME training classes you have taught in the past 12 months

You must also be prepared to arrange for a Certified FME Trainer to attend and audit your next scheduled training class. This trainer should be from an organization or company other than your own.

Application Fees

There is no application fee. However, you must be able to pay for the expenses of an FME Certified Trainer for your course audit.

To apply, simply complete our online application form. Please note that as part of the application process, you will be required to submit:

  • Examples that demonstrate proven experience in public speaking or training
  • Three references from classes you have taught in the past 12 months

  • A press release template to help you announce your certification to the market (optional)
  • Access to an invitation-only forum so you can interact with other FME Certified Trainers

Certified FME Trainers must agree to:

  • Teach courses using the latest FME version of software and up to date materials
  • Provide a list of course attendees and copies of the feedback forms to Safe within 90 days of the course date
