QA/QC ANALYST

The Position
We are seeking a positive, energetic team player with a strong work ethic to join our growing Team in the role of QA/QC Tester at our offices in Surrey, BC.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare test documentation
- Perform manual tests
- Prepare defect reports and statistics
- Coordinate defect resolution process
- Responsible for configuring and updating test environments
- Work together with development teams and product management to ensure high quality projects are delivered on time
- Contribute to development of team's knowledge, ensuring we analyze, recommend and utilize efficient and innovative techniques and methodologies
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Software QA processes and methodology
- Must have at least three (3) years experience working in a quality assurance/testing role or with GIS software
- Demonstrated expertise in testing on multiple platforms - Windows, Linux, and Solaris
- Previous programming experience is an asset Experience with automation and performance testing especially with SilkTest is an asset
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills
Education
- Minimum of Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or three (3) years in Quality Assurance in a software-related field or three (3) years in a GIS-related field is required
